A note on certain biorthogonal polynomials

Abstract

Konhauser has introduced two polynomial sets {Y _n^c(x;k)}, {Z_n⁰(x;k)} that are biorthogonal with respect to the weight function e^−xx⁰ over the interval (0,∞). An explicit expression was obtained for Z_n^e(x;k) but not for Y _n^e(x;k). An explicit polynomial expression for Y _n^c(x;k) is given in the present paper.
