Dynamical systems of characteristic 0

Ronald Allen Knight

Vol. 41 (1972), No. 2, 447–457
Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to characterize planar dynamical systems satisfying certain stability criterion. These flows are called dynamical systems of characteristic 0. Basically the set S of critical points of such a flow is shown to be in one of three categories: S = ;S consists of at most two Poincaré centers; or S = R2.
