On extension of rotund norms. II

Abstract

It is proved that if X is a Banach space, Y ⊂ X with X∕Y separable and ∥⋅∥ is an equivalent locally uniformly rotund norm on Y , then ∥⋅∥ can be extended to such a norm on X.
