Non-cell-like decompositions of S³

Abstract

Let 𝒢 be an upper semi continuous decomposition of the three-sphere S³. The purpose of this note is to describe two conditions under which we can identify the quotient space X = S³∕𝒢, without assuming either that 𝒢 is cell like or that X is finite dimensional.
