The Fefferman-Stein decomposition of smooth functions and its application to H^p(Rⁿ)

Abstract

We show the “Fefferman-Stein decomposition” of smooth bump functions. As an application of this we get one result about the singular integral characterization of H^p(Rⁿ). Our method does not use subharmonicity.
