Fixed points of S¹-fibrations

Abstract

Let M be a S¹-fibration over a space B and f : M → M a map over B. We give some results when f can be deformed over B to a fixed point free map. When the fibration is principal then we compute Ȟⁿ⁻¹(Fix(f),k) where n = dimM and we find g homotopic to f over B which minimize the fixed points.
