Spanned and ample vector bundles with low Chern numbers

Abstract

Here we classify paris (V,E) with V projective variety, dim(V ) = n, E ample and spanned rank-2 vector bundle and, if n = 2k, c₂(E)^k = 1, if n = 2k + 1, c₁(E)c₂(E)^k = 2. In both cases V = Pⁿ and E is the direct sum of two line bundles of degree 1.
