Normal structure in Bochner L^p-spaces

Abstract

It is shown that, for 1 < p < ∞, the Bochner L^p-space L^p(μ,X) has normal structure exactly when X has normal structure. With this result, normal structure in Bochner L^p-spaces is completely characterized except in one seemingly simple setting.
