Heredity of Whittaker models on the metaplectic group

Abstract

In this paper, Rodier’s theorem on the heredity of Whittaker models is generalized to non-algebraic setting of the n-fold metaplectic cover of the general linear group GL_r(𝔽), where 𝔽 is nonarchimedean local field containing the n-th roots of unity.
