Abstract

Suppose p 5 is a prime number, and let G = SL 2(p). We calculate the derived functors R n BG(π), where B is a Borel subgroup of G, BG is the right adjoint of smooth parabolic induction constructed by Vignéras, and π is any smooth, absolutely irreducible, mod p representation of G.
